Got this meme from [info]chakramchucker

The top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded.
Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish, strike through what you couldn't stand. (I also truetyped the ones I'd never heard of. I could've done something else to the ones that are in my house right now, but I though that might be going a bit overboard)

Look up in the sky! It's neurotic girl!

Rainbow square, Room 3B, Sheep in the Big City, IT'S MY LIFE!!, star control 2, Captain Narrator Will Save You!, Christmas, Rachel, zero, Homestar, The Tommy, KND, remorse, Clanker, Strong Bad, Strong Sad, Banjo-Kazooie, Kyon, Strong Bad smile, Animorphs, Clone High, Excited, Neverhood, Drowning them, Facepalm
I chose to spend last night writing instead of responding to comments and friends list posts, and I don't think it's a good idea to do that before breakfast. But I will do that personality test I've been seing.

A few enters to prevent the results from running off the screen...

My Personality
Neuroticism
97
Extraversion
2
Openness to Experience
59
Agreeableness
86
Conscientiousness
23
You often resist any cravings or urges that you have, but sometimes you give in, however you experience panic, confusion, and helplessness when under pressure or stress. You tend not to talk much and prefer to let others control the activities of groups. You prefer familiar routines and for things to stay the same. You can tend to feel uncomfortable with change. You are tenderhearted and compassionate, feeling the pain of others vicariously and are easily moved to pity, however there are times when you believe that a certain amount of deception in social relationships is necessary, however you are mostly candid, frank and sincere. People find it moderately easy to relate to you. You are not an overly cautious person. You will think about alternatives and consequences but make up your mind fairly quickly.

Take a Personality Test now or view the full Personality Report.

And because I'm sure you care deeply about my in-depth results... )

The results seem pretty accurate, but I'm not surprised. They're exactly what I just told the test I was like. I've done a lot of personality tests, and the questions become pretty transparent after a while. They're still fun, though.

The results of the personality tests I take usually change depending on whether I'm talking about how I am on the Internet or how I am in real life. But the only thing that really changes is my introversion. I think it would've gone up 30 or 40 points if I'd been answering the questions with the Internet in mind. It's pretty accurate in real life. I'm sure that if I talk to people I'll do all the non-verbal things wrong and they'll think I'm being rude. So I don't bother. I will eventually, I've been practising on the Internet where I'm more comfortable.

Two memes in a row

Now that my MP3 player's been filled up so that I had to delete some of my older stuff to get my new stuff on it, I'll do the life soundtrack meme again.

Instructions: Put your music player of choice on shuffle. For each part of the soundtrack, put the first song that comes up. The result is the soundtrack of your life.

This one I'll cut. My taste in music is generally considered bad, anyway. )

What a strange movie.

Guessing fandoms meme

Rainbow square, Room 3B, Sheep in the Big City, IT'S MY LIFE!!, star control 2, Captain Narrator Will Save You!, Christmas, Rachel, zero, Homestar, The Tommy, KND, remorse, Clanker, Strong Bad, Strong Sad, Banjo-Kazooie, Kyon, Strong Bad smile, Animorphs, Clone High, Excited, Neverhood, Drowning them, Facepalm
I'm going to do that meme where you describe things you like or have liked in an unusual way and challenge people to guess them. I don't care how many you're supposed to do, I'm doing as many as I want. It's fun.

1. Teenagers sit around wondering if fighting aliens is the right thing to do. Sometimes they get up and do some actual fighting, if stuff doesn't try to kill them all on its own first.
2. Children build outlandish technology and fight a pyrokinetic man with father issues.
3. Small town of hideous mutants talk to each other a lot, and it's hilarious.
4. Slightly sarcastic man goes into a difficult profession partly to talk to his childhood friend.
5. The adventures of three perpetually broke friends, the others in their neighbourhood, and absolutely nobody else.
6. Young genius saves the galaxy after being hit on by a monstrous alien, and having sex with a human-like alien.
7. Bald kid has a little over six months to learn an art that takes a lifetime to master.
8. Group of misfits save the world by replanting a tree.
9. King is betrayed by his firstborn son, and it's up to his secondborn son to save his world, provided he doesn't kill himself with a drain first.
10. Romanian cat and dog have adventures to a repetitive musical score.
11. Four kids save the world when the player bails them out of the final boss fight.
12. Two friends journey through a series of worlds where even the oranges have eyes, to find jigsaw pieces with which to save a little girl.
13. Psychic girl in a pseudo-medieval setting runs around a vast underground complex run by a supercomputer, in jeans.
14. Hostile alien comes to Earth, but sits there and waits for almost sixty-five million years before it decides to attack. Then it doesn't attack again for another fourteen thousand years.
15. Large cast of characters run around on a physically impossible planet. Also, movies and rock music distort the nature of reality.
16. Thirteen-year-old girl creates the universe without realising it. She is later stopped from creating another universe by a kiss.
17. Ten-year-old goes to camp and learns how to set stuff on fire with his mind. He later flashes back to high school.
18. Man is totally on the rebound for a whole season after his girlfriend gets sucked into an alternate universe, until his new girl gets fed up and leaves.
19. A well-known American president kisses a well-known spiritual leader.
20. Small town of weird people talk to each other a lot, and it's hilarious. Not a lot goes on otherwise.

Okay, that's enough. Guess!

I also got some nice clothes from my sister for my birthday. And later in the day, my dad bought me Team America: World Police, which I found very amusing. I think my favourite song was the one about how much Pearl Harbour sucked.

Also, I was browsing YouTube yesterday, and I noticed that the person who'd uploaded the entire first season of Sheep in the Big City had startd on the second season a few hours earlier. It's a my birthday present! It came to me on my birthday! It was also very good timing, because I'd just finished watching the final episode of the first season the night before.

And Elcool drew some art for one of my fanfics. This one, to be exact. I was pretty thrilled. This also came to me on my birthday. In Israel. But I'm pretty sure Elcool knew that. I quite like his gallery, actually. You should check it out if you haven't already.

So anyway, [info]chakramchucker tagged me.

Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks!

Ten weird facts this time? )

I'm sure I'm not usually that boring. Oh well. I tag [info]comet80, [info]fray_joker [info]kartoonkween, [info]open_embrace, [info]roxy317 and [info]mwagen.

It took me ages to find the Centrelink office in Tuggeranong. Again. But now I now where it is. Past Homeworld from the Hyperdome. I'll remember that. I hope.

Anyway, here's one of those interactive memes.

Pick a fictional character from a fandom I know and I'll answer the following questions to the best of my abilities.

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?

4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?

5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)

6) Is there anything about the character you would change?

7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)

8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?

9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom?

10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?

And [info]mwagen thinks I should go to ROFLCon, but for some reason my parents don't want me to spend all my money on plane tickets. I wonder why that is.

Go to your journal's calendar view. Click on the first post you made in each month, and post the first line of it (skip memes). That's your year in review!

I kind of left LiveJournal in a huff last December, for reasons I've forgotten and probably don't matter, so I'll have to start with April.

April: So maybe I'm still lurking here.
May: :D :D :D [I linked to the fanstuff wiki here. I was pleased that I'd won Fanstuff of the Month.]
June: First: Who would win in a fight between Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Jack Harkness?
July: Best book since Goblet of Fire [This was actually the subject, but the rest of the post didn't make sense without it.]
August: I started a writing journal: [info]shwooheartwords. [I need to use that more often.]
September: Bet nobody remembers this this icon [Again, this was the subject.]
October: Whose idea was it to hold NaNoWriMo during exam month?!
November: Okay, it's 9:30pm on the first of November and I have 2,357 words already.
December: I looked all through my friends list and couldn't think of a thing to say.

The best part was the two NaNo related posts.

I just took a personality test. It had questions about a lot of things. Here's the results.

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more emotional than logical, more concerned about others than concerned about self, more atheist than religious, more loner than dependent, more workaholic than lazy, more rebel than traditional, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more cynical than idealist, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are adventurious (100%), innovative (64%), adventurous (62%), intellectual (59%).

Stereotypes
College Student64%
Geek59%
Old Geezer50%

Life Experience
Sex23%
Substances0%
Travel3%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Liberal, whom you agree with around 64% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Middle Class. You make more than 32% of those who have taken this test, and 94% less than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated G.
By the way, your hottness rank is 50%, hotter than 17% of other test takers.

TAKE THE TEST
brought to you by thatsurveysite

The result about sex doesn't surprise me, but I'm more of an extrovert than an introvert? When did that happen?

I found this quiz on [info]6beckie6's DeviantArt account. You're supposed to reply with song lyrics, but I'm going to use Homestar Runner quotes instead. It's funnier. Besides, otherwise I'd have to put an angsting tag on in this entry, and I'm trying to cut down on those.
