I spent ages writing up the description for that second one. I hope someone reads it.

I'm keeping the subject that deviantART automatically gave this entry. I find it somehow hilarious.

So tonight I cried because I couldn't get the proportions right on the cloth-covering-some-sort-of-rectangle I was supposed to be drawing. I really don't get me sometimes. I guess I've been highly strung all week and it doesn't take much to set me off? It didn't take much to set me off when I was depressed on Monday, either.

On the plus side, I drew a Strong Badian style Strong Bad in my drawing class without using a reference, and it came out looking okay. Progress! Also I drew this cute squirrel thing because my teacher took pity on my inability to draw a tablecloth.

I am honour bound to mention it in my journal each and every time I submit a drawing to deviantART. Strong Bad and The Cheat hug. I thought it was cute.

Speaking of which, I need some more friendship songs. I have, like, three. Maybe I should listen to more things that aren't punk rock and alternative?

So that's what I've been doing all afternoon. I should really do some writing or something. Eh. Tomorrow.

I'm taking drawing classes at night. I just had the first class, and it was pretty good. I drew some stuff and didn't feel as inadequete as I usually do. Yeah, pretty good.

Also, I just started playing Mother 3, since I hear Brawl is going to spoil it. I'm using a translation guide, and I hope it doesn't turn out to be too much of a hassle. The translation guide, not the game. Ever since that post on fandomsecrets a few days ago about how Mother 3 made them feel like a murderer, I've wanted to play it more than ever. I like games that draw you in emotionally.

Also, my early New Years Resolution: Learn to draw, instead of making it up as I go along.

So it's still not November.

In non-NaNo related news, it turns out I can pass one of my classes by showing what I do as a sysop on the Homestar Runner fanstuff wiki. I CAN PASS BY DOING THE THING I DO FOR FUN ANYWAY. :D :D :D :D

Also, I found my sketchbook, and I'm going to see how badly I draw on paper. I also found a couple of old drawings I'll probably upload to my deviantART account later.

Look, Photoshop. Would it be too much to ask to have a shape drawing tool that doesn't add three new layers? Really? MSPaint does it. Do you want to be outperformed by MSPaint? And get a curvy line tool that isn't impossible to figure out while you're at it.

And apparently I just love drawing other peoples' Homestar Runner fancharacters. It must be the crazy hair colours.
